…where the art, technique, and joy of dance go hand in hand
Founded in 1985 by Elizabeth Fisk Barisser, Brass City Ballet started in a church in Waterbury, Connecticut. For over 35 years the studio has grown and evolved into the studio we are today. Founded in the idea that quality dance education should not sacrifice joy, we continue to provide Connecticut with some of the best dance instruction, and are incredibly proud to do so.
Brass City Ballet provides a place for students to both discover and nurture their love for movement, with classes starting as young as 18 months, to adult. We maintain a full season of performance opportunities for our students, both in our recreational and concentrated studies programs as well as our summer intensives.
What our students learn they will take with them far beyond the studio. We are committed to helping our students reach their greatest potential and succeed in all their endeavors. Join us!
